It all started when…
I had no direction on the career path - kept going from soulless job to soulless job. I suffered from chronic migraines, depression, anxiety - the works. Unitl one day, I decided to try a massage, unlike any other masage I’d had before. I didnt go to a spa, or get a regular “feel-goo” swedish massage. i found a pracxtitioner online, who happened to specialize in myofascial release. had no idea what that was, i was just deperate for some relief. this woman turned out to be a godsend. in short, the experience awoke in me the desire to channel the same healing energy to others. i immediately enrolled at midlands technical college and in 10 months had earned my certificate and passed my licensing exam. I had always been sort of average in school, but i discovered i had a genuine interest in anatomy and physiology. i was intuitively knowledgable about the anatomy of muscles, and became synced with them in a surprising way. i found myself able to express my creativness as well as my practical knowldge of anatomy and physiology when treating muscles. i’ve always loved puzzles. so when a client comes in with pain or disorders, my mind immediately starts wroking to find the source. my style of technique began to develop - palpating, introducing myself to the unique physiology of a person, i can “see" the muscles under the skin, i can visualize what i’m feeling, and i use my hands as tools to work the muscles as clay or dough.
